Who I am
Martina Pagnin, founder of New Dream’s Border, established the kennel in 2005 with her first Border Collie, Renee, with whom she began practicing Agility and attending dog shows. Fascinated by the breed’s intelligence and cooperative nature, she decided to dedicate herself to breeding with passion and respect.
​
In 2009 she welcomed Eevee, from the renowned Bordeline Country kennel of Heidi Poschacher, descending from prestigious Australian bloodlines and becoming the foundation female of New Dream’s Border. The first litter was born in 2010, marking the beginning of a path enriched by the import of top-quality dogs from all over the world.
​
Through constant study and selection, Martina breeds healthy, well-balanced Border Collies in full accordance with the breed standard. In 2012 she achieved the ENCI Master Breeder title, a recognition of her professionalism and expertise.
​
Today, New Dream’s Border boasts over 50 beauty champions, more than 100 championship titles, and over 30 award-winning dogs in canine sports, establishing itself as an internationally renowned kennel.

Our breeding policy
New Dream’s Border is a family-run kennel, officially recognized by ENCI and FCI. We carefully select healthy, well-balanced Border Collies that meet breed standards—ideal both as family pets and for dog sports.

All our dogs undergo comprehensive genetic testing to prevent hereditary diseases. They live in a peaceful, enriching family environment, and our females are bred only a limited number of times, always with their well-being as the top priority.

We don’t “produce” puppies—we breed responsibly. Our litters are few, highly selective, and available by reservation. Our goal is to offer dogs that are true life companions in every sense.
New Dream’s Border represents passion, professionalism, and deep respect for the Border Collie breed. Selective breeding is at the core of every decision we make—from sourcing prestigious bloodlines to raising puppies that are healthy, well-balanced, and morphologically sound. This ongoing commitment earned us the prestigious ENCI Master Breeder title, a certification of the quality and ethics behind our work.

Our selection work
At New Dream’s Border, our breeding choices are the result of conscious decisions based on health, temperament, and adherence to breed standards. In addition to comprehensive genetic testing to prevent hereditary diseases, we work closely with specialized veterinarians to ensure the highest reliability in our breeding dogs.

Our dogs are raised in a stimulating family environment, actively involved in daily life, which helps them develop a stable temperament—ideal for domestic living.
To safeguard the well-being of our females, we limit the number of litters and assess each breeding based on the individual dog's health. We also participate in dog shows to maintain high morphological standards and encourage proper socialization.

Every puppy born in our kennel is the outcome of dedicated, ethical, and ongoing work—an investment reflected in the value of the animal: a healthy, balanced, and carefully chosen companion.
In our kennel, the health and well-being of our Border Collies and Miniature American Shepherds are our top priorities.
