Who I am
My name is Martina Pagnin, and I am the founder and owner of New Dream's Border kennel. My journey began several years ago, more precisely in 2005, with the arrival of my first Border Collie named Renee. With her, I started practicing Agility Dog at an amateur level and participating in some beauty shows. I was immediately struck and fascinated by the incredible learning abilities, cooperation, and keen intelligence of this breed.

Thus, I decided to pursue my dream of dedicating myself to breeding this magnificent breed with respect, dedication, and passion.
​
In 2009, Eevee arrived from the prestigious Bordeline Country kennel of Heidi Poschacher. She was my first Border Collie descending from important Australian bloodlines and the progenitor of New Dream's Border kennel.
​
In 2010, the first litter was born. Since then, our family has grown more and more, thanks to the importation of dogs with prestigious pedigrees from various countries around the world and several litters born over the years.
​
My research and study of bloodlines, aimed at obtaining healthy dogs with balanced temperaments and morphology in line with the breed standard, is a constant job that must be carried out with the utmost seriousness, professionalism, and passion. This dedication led me to obtain the title of Master Breeder recognized by ENCI in 2014.

To date, New Dream's Border kennel boasts more than 30 beauty champions, over 100 championship titles, and more than 30 dogs that have received recognition in various canine sports disciplines.

The primary objective is to select subjects with a balanced character and physically in line with the breed standard with the ultimate aim of giving birth to dogs that can bring joy and happiness to future owners.
To do all this over the years. and currently, the search for selected reproducers through the study of the most prestigious bloodlines is a constant and fundamental work.
All our dogs are kept in the best possible conditions giving the animal's well-being with top priority. For this reason, most of our breeders are entrusted to owners, who can give them the correct attention and lead them to a family life.
In order to avoid the reproduction of subjects suffering from pathologies, all our dogs are subjected to all the health tests required by the breed. For more information on the tests performed on our dogs, visit the pages dedicated to each subject.

Our selection work
New Dream's Border Kennel stands out for its responsible and careful breeding approach, which is based on several fundamental pillars.

Our work begins with rigorous genetic selection based on the health, temperament, and beauty of our breeding dogs, ensuring that each puppy has the best possible start in life.

This commitment also includes the evaluation and management of potential hereditary skeletal diseases (such as hip, elbow, and shoulder dysplasia), epilepsy, and other breed-specific conditions through genetic testing and close collaboration with veterinary experts.

Beyond physical health, New Dream's Border places great emphasis on the temperament of the dogs, which are raised in a home environment and actively participate in the family's daily life. This allows for accurate behavioral assessment and socialization of the dogs, ensuring they are well-balanced and suitable for family life.

Moreover, the number of litters per female is limited to preserve her health and prevent exploitation.

By participating in dog shows, our kennel keeps the dogs consistently prepared and aligned with breed standards, ensuring they best represent the desired aesthetic characteristics. This practice not only allows for the evaluation of their quality but also contributes to their overall socialization and well-being by ensuring they are comfortable with being handled and touched, reflecting our focus on their socialization and psychological welfare.

Finally, it is important to note that all this commitment and attention to the quality and well-being of our dogs entail costs.

The price of our puppies may be higher compared to other kennels, as it reflects the intensive work of selection, care, and preparation invested in each animal. We believe that this investment is justified by the added value we offer in terms of the health, temperament, and beauty of our dogs and puppies.
